Using Diffr

Diffr is small on purpose. There's a review to do, and these are the controls. Found something wrong or missing? Email [email protected].

The review is a keyboard flow. Every shortcut below works from the diff view without a modifier unless shown.

Themes

Tokyo Night ships free and is the default. Diffr's theme is data — a set of tokens plus a Shiki highlight theme — so switching is instant and complete, from the file tree to the intra-line diff colors.

  1. Open the command palette with ⌘K and type theme, or go to Settings → Theme.
  2. Pick a theme. It applies live — no reload.
  3. Every theme is free, including colorschemes you import from Neovim.

Licensing

Diffr is free to use, forever — nothing is locked. A personal license is $20 a year for people who want to support the work. It silences the occasional support nag and is scoped to your GitHub account.

  1. In Diffr, open Settings → License and click Sign in with GitHub.
  2. Approve the code in the browser tab that opens.
  3. Diffr fetches your license and verifies it. It works offline from then on, on every Mac signed in to that account.
Business use

If your company pays you to review code, that's a business seat. Team pricing depends on seat count — email [email protected].

Uninstall

No hidden hooks, no background daemon. Removing Diffr is dragging one app to the trash.

  1. Quit Diffr.
  2. Drag Diffr.app from Applications to the Trash.
  3. Optional: remove local settings at ~/Library/Application Support/com.getdiffr.diffr.

Your repositories are never touched — Diffr only ever read them.
